A Sapphire Chosen with purpose

This pendant was commissioned as a thoughtful idea — hubbies birthday quietly guided the design. Sapphire is his birthstone, and he wanted to choose something meaningful and exceptional for his lucky wife to wear — a gemstone with depth, character, and lasting presence.

Finding the right sapphire is never a quick process. We sourced and presented several sapphire options, taking time to explore subtle differences in tone, saturation, and personality. The final stone stood apart immediately. Its colour is a soft teal — shifting naturally between green & blue depending on the light — but what truly distinguished it was its internal life. The way the stone responded to movement and light gave it a vibrancy that simply couldn’t be matched by the others. This is what we look for when selecting fine gemstones: not just colour, but presence.

The sapphire was set in platinum to complement its cool, luminous tones and to give the piece strength and longevity — a setting designed to last as long as the sentiment behind it.
